Micro Fiction Challenge: Malinger Results
Blah blah blah, quasi-funny writeup, etc.
Let’s get to the results of the most recent Micro Fiction Challenge, which was to write a 25-word story using “malinger.”
First, props to Raphael Abrams for really bringin’ it. But, representing 44% of the entries is no guarantee that the prize will be yours. (Though it doesn’t hurt to try, my friend.)
Also, kudos to Laura for not giving a shit about the rules. That’s one of the many, many things we like about you, LR.
And welcome, first-timers Glenn, Carrie, and Erika. One of you won! And that one of you is … Carrie! Carrie Winters (or “Carrie Winters”), come on down and claim your prize, which is two free hours of uninterrupted solitude at WriteByNight. Drop me a line at david[at]writebynight.net and we’ll arrange. And if you don’t live in/near Austin, we’ll find something equally exciting. If such a thing exists.
Don’t forget to check this space every single day … because you never know when this malingerer will post a new Micro Fiction Challenge.
Hey, I don’t give a shit about the rules. Where are my kudos?
When does the next one go up?
Next week! Probably. Maybe.
LoL. Yeah, I never actually count my words, ’cause I’m hardcore like that.
