If writing, talking about writing, and meeting other writers are three things that appeal to you (and, let’s be honest, if you’re reading this blog, they do), then I would like to cordially invite you to the Austin Writers Loft Party.

Come out and join us for a night of eating, drinking, and schmoozing with writers of all genres and experience levels, from published writers and experienced editors to those just getting their start. This is a great opportunity to bring people from all corners of Austin’s creative and professional writing community together under one roof … for the first time. Can you believe no one’s ever done this before?

The event, co-hosted by the Professional Writers of Austin Meetup group and WriteByNight, will take place here at WriteByNight headquarters on Wednesday, September 14 at 7 p.m.

The Professional Writers of Austin is a networking group for people who are employed as writers, editors or copyeditors. The group’s goal is to provide an authentic community of professional, working writers who have already broken into the field and have a passion for their careers.

So, if you’re excited about the opportunity to come together with other writers and editors to mingle with Austin’s diverse writing community, click here to RSVP. ($3 suggested donation)

“Excited” and “attending” should be two words that describe your stance towards this event. I know I’ll be there.

Michelle is currently a student at The University of Texas at Austin, where she is pursuing dual degrees in Business and in Plan II, an interdisciplinary liberal arts program. In addition to interning with WriteByNight, she spends her time writing short stories and editing just about anything she can.
