Who Will I Work With?
We’ll pair you with the professional ghostwriter best suited to your project, based on your book’s subject, voice, scope, and goals.
When possible, we may introduce you to two potential writers so you can speak with both and help choose the best fit.
You’ll work directly with your writer, while WriteByNight co-founder David Duhr oversees the project from start to finish — keeping communication clear, tracking progress, and making sure the manuscript stays aligned with your vision.
What Will it Cost?
Ghostwriting projects are quoted individually based on manuscript length, genre, complexity, and the amount of research and interviewing involved.
Together we’ll establish a target word-count range for your book, then quote a fixed project price based on the midpoint of that range. Most projects run from $1.00 to $1.50 per word.
Because ghostwriting is a major undertaking, most book-length projects are quoted well into the five figures.
You’ll receive the full project price before committing, along with a clear payment schedule tied to agreed-upon milestones.
