What Will WBN Do?
At WriteByNight, every relationship begins with a free conversation to discuss your wants, needs, and goals.
Depending on your manuscript and budget, your editorial project may include our unique four-step process, featuring two separate editors and two opportunities for your input:
1. A full line edit for fluidity, clarity, grammar, usage, and more
2. A chance for you to accept/reject each suggested edit
3. A final proofread for remaining typos, misspellings, punctuation errors, and more
4. A chance for you to review each suggested correction
Your WriteByNight editors may explain their decisions and make commentary via margin notes to aid your comprehension and smooth your review.

A full editorial project includes two separate editorial specialists, giving your prose two rounds of professional attention.
WriteByNight’s co-founder David Duhr will be your project manager throughout the process, keeping communication clear and making sure we’re moving toward your goals and vision.
What Will it Cost?
Editorial projects are quoted individually based on manuscript length and condition, genre, complexity, and whether you wish for a line edit and proofread, a line edit only, or a proofread only. A line edit and proofread together typically ranges from $0.07/word to $0.10/word, with a $500 minimum.
You’ll receive a clear quote before committing, and payment plans are available.
