Austin artist Olivier A. Villa has dedicated his life to creating art that is simple, fluid, and speaks of dreams and natural forms. “My hardest challenge is creating an energy that my audience may feel,” he says. Current work involves the Madonna figure in all cultures.

Eleanor Droll
Wall art, various prints

Eleanor Droll is an artist and printmaker living in Austin. She’s a member of the Women Printmakers of Austin, and her work is a part of Generous Art.

These prints were created over a five year period while she was a resident of Brooklyn, New York and then Austin.

Most of these printed images come from pictures she took with her cell phone. She transferred those images onto a piece of linoleum block and cut into it to form the images. She rolled ink onto the cut block using a brayer, put a piece of white paper down on the inked surface, and hand rubbed the back of the paper. After the ink dried, she painted the open spaces with water color paint.

This was all in an attempt to capture quiet moments overlooked in a day.

Robert Poschmann is a multi-disciplined artist across a variety of styles and media. He attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at Our Lady of the Lake University and currently works out of Austin, Texas.
