Submit to WriteByNight’s Blog

WriteByNight is always taking quality submissions for its blog. Posts should be between 400-800 words and cover some aspect of literary life (writing, reading, events, etc.). You do not have to be an Austinite, nor write about Austin or Texas, to be eligible.

To get a sense of what we like, visit our “Best Of” page and read those posts we deemed most popular through a combination of page views, comments, and, well, whimsy.

Email blog posts in full to WriteByNight co-founder David Duhr, and include a headshot (.jpg or .png) and brief bio. Queries welcome, as well. All posts are subject to editing for space and content (but are likely to be edited only for grammar and typos).

By publishing your work with WBN, you’ll make it available to hundreds of devoted followers. And most importantly, you’ll take the pressure off of us to do all the writing ourselves, thereby giving us more time to provide you with our signature one-on-one attention.

Besides, it’s high time we share your writing talents with the rest of the world.
