Swizzle2 Micro Fiction Challenge: Swizzle ResultsThe WriteByNight Micro Fiction Challenge is going on hiatus for a week so that we can all take a breather. (Just kidding. It’s because I’m a lazy cuss and haven’t gotten around to making a new one.)

But the results are in for last week’s Challenge, “swizzle!” Lots of fun, tropical stories came in, but the overarching theme clearly was male/female acrimony. Drinks thrown in faces, dudes shot down at the bar, erectile dysfunction, and a smattering of pee and poop talk.

But we can only choose one winner, one writer who will receive $8 in cash (enough to buy a swizzle) tucked inside a free book of his/her choice. And that winner is … Ava Love! (For the second time)

He whispered, “I’ll never forget Swizzles in Bermuda, tasting rum on your lips.”
“That wasn’t me,” I sighed.
“Hmmm,” he shrugged, “still a great memory.”

Ava, drop us an email (david[at]writebynight.net) to claim your booty.

Honorable mention goes to Stocktoc, Phil, and the stalwart Laura Roberts.

And check this space next week for a new Micro Fiction Challenge.
