Manuscript consultations are ideal for writers with a completed (or almost completed) manuscript. Submit your work to Justine or David for detailed written and verbal feedback, content editing and/or proofreading. We’ll read and mark up your manuscript—keeping in mind any unique craft issues to which you’ve called our attention—then meet with you for one hour to discuss the work in depth.

One-time consultations are also available to writers with one-time questions: Is the subject of my book compelling? Where should I submit my short story for publication? Can you help me carve out writing time from my busy schedule?

We’re happy to put our heads together on anything and everything writing-related.




Cost: $99 per one-hour meeting, plus $30 per hour for prep. time.
